I am a follower of Christ. I battle with my flesh on a daily basis. Some times there is victory, and others defeat. I am a broken sinner who has no chance for victory but through Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Questioning
Have you ever been so certain that decisions you were making were so right, only to look back and wonder if you are doing the right thing?
Wow...I do that all the time. Pretty much every major decision I make I wonder if it was right. Seminary itself is one that I'm trying to make sure was correct. What is your context, if I may ask?
I've done that several times. When I'm in that mode all I can do is continue what is in front of me and try to abide in God - I figure He'll let me know if He wants me to do anything drastic (like backtrack or something).
Commonly when I come to that assertion, it's usually because I have placed my wants above what God had intended. It takes a lot of persistance to keep ourselves on track with God's plans however unknown they are to us. I try not to concern myself with 'Should I have done this?' and replace it with 'I have, with all honesty, performed this task for the grace and glory of God.'
Always! Done it here after leaving you and Elisabeth.

ReplyDeletesometimes. However, the majority of the time I am satisified in knowing that my decisions are the path that G-d would have me take.
ReplyDeleteI am visiting from India. Very impressed by your writing.
